Thank you to everyone who supported our candidates throughout this campaign season. Your encouragement, time, and commitment truly meant so much.

Although the results were not what we hoped for, we offer our sincere congratulations to Mayor Trister and to all those who were sworn in last night. Public service is a responsibility that deserves respect, and we wish them success as they begin this next chapter of leadership.

We also recognize the loss of Tim Manke on the Town Council. Ten years of dedicated service is not something to take lightly. His commitment, leadership, and constant support for our community have made a lasting impact, and we thank him deeply for all he has contributed to Newington.

As we look ahead, we remain hopeful that the promises made during this election will be honored, that transparency will be upheld, and that fiscal responsibility will remain a guiding priority for our community.
